Hi, I’m Aaron! I’m a Seattle-born, Nashville-based music producer and mix engineer.
I love all kinds of eclectic nooks and crannies of the music world, including neoclassical, ambient electronic, dream pop, and synthwave.
Regardless of genre, what energizes me about making music is when all the parts come together to create that undeniable feeling that you can close your eyes and get carried away in. That’s the feeling I chase when producing and mixing, and my work isn’t done until both I and my client are feeling it.
Although comfortable in a variety of genres, I thrive in the plane where singer/songwriters can expand to something unconventional, whether that be adding an orchestra, a wash of ambient pads, or anything in between. I love dreaming big and exploring uncharted territory together.
I produce music for film and TV under the moniker Analaska, alongside my friend and studio partner Matt Podesla. Our music is guitar-driven synth pop with ambient leanings.
Outside the studio, I have toured and performed with over two dozen artists and bands, including Michael W. Smith, Sara Evans, Zach Williams, Lindsay Ell, Matthew West, Matt Maher, Jason Crabb, and Sanctus Real, among others. Touring in more conventional genres helps add a dimension of healthy marketability to my otherwise outside-the-box approach to music making.
